That’s One Lucky German!

The world’s most popular roadster, the Mazda MX5, set a new record on 4th February 2011, when total production of Mazda’s iconic sports car passed 900,000 units. This landmark car has now made its way to a German dealership, Autohaus Misch in Übach-Palenberg, near Aachen, where it was delivered to its new owner with suitable celebrations on April 8th, 2011. What a lucky guy!

The 900,000th MX5’s happy new owners sent this message to Mazda in Japan:

“For us, a dream comes true today. We planned to buy this roadster for such a long time and now we are eager to go on trips throughout Germany. Thank you very much for the personal letter, the miniature MX5 and the certificate. Some weeks ago, we were not sure, if the festive hand-over is appropriate due to the situation in Japan, but the dealer informed us that you, Mazda Japan, is looking forward to the event and thatLs why it was also fine for us. Thank you to everybody who made this day special for us.”
